Agency customers use a multi-profile billing structure: a single billing account that holds one billing profile per client organization. This lets you manage billing for multiple clients from one place while keeping each client’s charges, invoices, and payment methods separate.

Agency billing structure

LevelDescription
Billing accountOne per agency. Holds the name, country, and tax ID.
Billing profileOne per client. Defines the client’s payment method, currency, and billing address. Receives its own invoices.

Add a billing profile for a new client

To create a billing profile for an additional client:
  1. Complete one of the following steps:
    • From the organization menu (upper left), select an organization and then click Billing.
    • From the user menu (upper right), click Billing or a billing account.
  2. Click Add billing profile.
  3. Enter a name for the client’s billing profile.
  4. Select a contract type.
  5. Click Save.
Once created, link the client’s organizations and projects to the new profile and add a payment method.

Switch between billing profiles

To switch between client billing profiles:
  1. Complete one of the following steps:
    • From the organization menu (upper left), select an organization and then click Billing.
    • From the user menu (upper right), click Billing or a billing account.
  2. Select the billing profile you want to manage from the profile list.
All billing actions — viewing invoices, managing payment methods, setting alerts — apply to the selected profile only.
