It’s easy to mistake Platform.sh for a PHP host. After all, we provide hosting, and most of our customers run a PHP-based application, most often Drupal. What Platform.sh offers, though, is not unique to Drupal, nor is it unique to PHP. Continuous deployment is a practice whose benefits are not limited to any one ecosystem or language. And we’re happy to announce that our continuous deployment Platform-as-a-Service is now available to Ruby and Python developers, as well. We’re now adding Python (both 2.7 and 3.5) and Ruby 2.3 to that list, as beta releases. We’re pretty confident in them, but there are a few edge case bits we want to stress test a bit before declaring them gold.
