# An update to our events privacy policy

Last summer, we updated our [privacy policy to include event accommodations](/posts/unknown/were-updating-our-privacy-policy-to-include-event-accommodations).

As our company grows, we realized that to provide the best possible experience at future Platform.sh and third-party events, we needed to create a separate events privacy policy, detailing how we’ll use and care for your personal data at such events. This new policy covers events we host, events we co-sponsor, as well as third-party events.

## Of course, privacy is a given

As always, your information will stay private and secure. You will always be asked to consent to our events privacy policy at our events. You can revoke this consent at any time via email and we will delete your personal data from our storage.
