# View invoices

> View current and past invoices for your billing profile, including invoice ID, amount, status, and line-item usage charges.

Invoices are generated at the end of each billing period and are available directly from your billing profile.
Each invoice includes line items showing the services and usage charged during that period.

## Prerequisites

* Familiarize yourself with the [billing account](/docs/glossary#billing-account) and [billing profile](/docs/glossary#billing-profile) concepts.
* A billing account and at least one billing profile must exist. If you have not set these up, see [Set up a billing account and billing profile](/docs/administration/billing/bp-setup).
* You must be a billing member. See [Manage billing members on a billing profile](/docs/administration/billing/bp-users).

## View billing profile invoices

To view a billing profile's invoices:

1. Complete one of the following steps:
   * From the organization menu (upper left), select an organization and then click **Billing**.
   * From the user menu (upper right), click **Billing** or a billing account.
2. On the billing account page, select a billing profile.
3. Click **Invoices**.

Each invoice is listed with its ID, date, and amount.

### Upcoming vs. past invoices

Upcoming invoices are prorated estimates for the current, open billing period, shown excluding tax, with viewable line-item details until they're charged at the end of the billing cycle.

Past invoices are finalized and closed, so you can only download them as a PDF rather than view interactive details.

In the Console, invoices with **Current** status appear in the **Upcoming** section, and invoices with **Closed** status appear under their billing year (for example, **2026**).
